It feels like it's been awhile since I last blogged. To be honest, even though it's been roughly around two weeks since I started this VN project, I feel like at least a month passed by. I've been making good progress during these past two weeks though. I finished the line art for all of the CG's for this VN and definitely found my Script Co-Writer (whom I'm hoping will stay for the entire series and not just staying for this one project). Now, I just need to find a Digital Artist who is willing to digitally color all of the line arts. I suppose that will be my focus for now, along with drawing the line art for the title screen image.
Completed: Finding a Script Co-Writer, BGM, Background Images, Line Art for Character Sprites, and Line Art for CG's
In-Progress: Finding a Digital Artist for Digital Coloring Purposes
Have Yet to Start: Line Art for Title Screen Image, Official Drafts of the Script, and Line Art for Character Sprite's Various Face Expressions
I think that's all for now. I'm dreading the next few weeks because I'll be too busy to even touch any of this. Let's hope my luck is good enough to the point where I will be able to finish any of the "In-Progress" or "Have Yet to Start" tasks.
Anyways, besides this, I realized how hard it is to find a mentor in regards to an online startup (part-time business) that relies on "contractor"-type employees and various projects (as its only revenue). What I also learned these past few days is that no one knows the first few steps in even starting a business by yourself. I'm starting to wonder if I should (besides updating on the VN Project's progress) talk about my progress in developing this part-time business. It might be interesting to touch upon the early setups in this, since I have only found articles in which successful and already established VN-specialized companies talk about their work and progress. Well, I suppose I'll have to think about that later though. For now, I should just focus on developing my first "product," which is this VN project.
